The second quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for dining and restaurant applications on the iOS platform in the United States. Sensor Tower's data provides us with an overview of the performance of the top players in this category.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at 2.5K in the first week of April and reaching a high of 3.9K by June, before closing the quarter at 3.6K. Weekly active users showed a more consistent upward trend, with numbers rising from 45.6K to 60.8K in mid-June, then slightly dipping to 57.6K towards the end of the quarter.
JOE & THE JUICE experienced a gradual increase in downloads, kicking off at under 1K and soaring to 4K in the first week of June, followed by a decline to around 2K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users paralleled this pattern, starting at 1.3K and peaking at 3.5K, before settling at approximately 2.5K.
Burger King Danmark demonstrated a steady download count throughout the quarter, maintaining the 1.6K to 1.7K range, with a notable spike to 2.7K in mid-June. However, data on weekly active users was not available.
